My lil graduate...

Porter graduated from kindergarten today. We are so proud of him. He has grown so much this last year. He loves his teacher Mrs. Smallwood. He is really going to miss her. She has brought him out of his shell and has taught him so many new and exciting things. Porter gave Mrs. Smallwood flowers and a card for being his teacher. He wrote the card all by himself! This is what he wrote, "dear mrs smallwood. I love you. I am sad for you. I don't want to leave your class. Love porter". (You have to imagine the writing of a kindergartener and the misspelled words...it was too cute)

a conversation with a 4 year old...

Abbie: Mom, who's gonna die first?

me: who are you talking about?

Abbie: who's gonna die first? you, dad, me, sissy, bubba, or chloe

me: i hope none of us has to die first.

Abbie: we will all die together mom, don't worry

me: ok abbie.

Abbie: cuz if you died mom, we would cry for you like the dogs.

me: what abbie???

Abbie: we would cry for you, like we cried for tori, our chicken, meat, tiny, our turtle. we would be sad like that when you die.

me: thank you Abbie.

***I'm glad Abbie loves me as much as our deceased pets!

Field trip to the Tucson Zoo...

Porter's kindergarten class went to the Tucson Zoo. I wasn't able to go because I had finals that day. Ryan followed the bus over and took Abbie and Chloe so that they could be with Porter. They had so much fun. Abbie dropped her apple in the alligator pond...oops! And the monkeys were reaching their hands out of the cage trying to get Porter's apple, so Ryan fed the monkeys an apple! (aren't their signs saying "do not feed the animals"????)

Future EAC student...

Well, I got tired of going to school by myself everyday, so.....Abbie became my new classmate! She sat quieter than most of the college kids! I (or should I say "Abbie and I") officially finished my first semester back to school. It was rough...but I made it! YAY! Here are a few pics of Abbie on her first day of college!
